JOB FUNCTIONS & REQUIREMENTS:


Business Leadership

Plays an essential leadership role at the agency, including growing existing client business and managing client revenue, with extensive experience leading and growing multi-year agency-of-record accounts:

  • Builds and maintains strong client relationships that lead to positive work outcomes and agency growth; Proven success building relationships over several years
  • Has the ability to future-plan, and can navigate the day-to-day of their accounts with that in mind (e.g. a “forest through the trees” thinker)
  • Ensures client financial and relationship health including both developing, and overseeing the development of, estimates and scopes of work
  • Responsible for overall profitability of their accounts; Navigates scope changes with client, and leads all financial tracking / discussions with clients monthly
  • Oversees team to ensure all agency financial processes are done accurately
  • Easily oscillates between big picture thinking to day-to-day execution
  • Supports the new business team and process including writing proposals and participating in pitches as needed


Strategic & Creative Leadership

Possesses a high level of comfort working cross-functionally to create and implement outstanding marketing strategies for clients:

  • Fosters strong internal relationships, with experience leading cross-functional teams (project managers, strategists, creatives, producers, etc.) in achieving excellent work for our clients
  • Highly strategic with a strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing strategies, channels, technologies, principles and processes
  • Can gain and maintain strategic alignment, righting the ship when things get off course; Expert at balancing and communicating the desires of the client with the recommendations of the agency
  • Has a sharp eye for creative and can articulate creative feedback to the team through the lens of the brand and the strategy at hand
  • Experience managing and overseeing productions from the account seat
  • Highly tuned antennae for trends in the marketplace and puts them to work
  • Understands the workflow planning process including resource management, timeline development, and project planning with support of project management team
  • Easily works on multiple, simultaneous projects in fast-paced environment - both in an oversight and day-to-day capacity
