Position Overview:


The Point of Sale Implementation Specialist will focus on Menu Management-- both building and maintaining LTO's/Menu Items; as well as triaging and responding to Ticket Queues. In addition, they will have hands on support of the new POS migration over the next 18 months. Looking for someone with a strong POS background and great customer service skills.


The Specialist will perform restaurant system configuration, menu and inventory maintenance (Food & Beverages, Specials), tasks to support Hooters business needs. The Specialist will also assist as needed in the system setup and menu configuration for new Hooters and Hoots restaurants. Other key responsibilities include quality assurance testing as assigned, onsite store visits as needed to work with store managers on system issues and enhancements, and project coordination activities as assigned. A key performance requirement is to deliver excellent information technology support to internal customers with the goal of providing outstanding customer service while performing tasks that increase productivity and efficiency of all work efforts.


Responsibilities:

• Maintain approved menu data on all current required and future computer applications for corporate and franchise stores.

• Maintain system configuration settings on all computer applications through enterprise dashboards.

• Support managing, troubleshooting and triaging inventory and labor data.

• Perform customer service relationship management activities, by responding to restaurant and departmental inquiries regarding system setup and menu data.

• Assist in the new store opening process by configuring the store’s users, hierarchies, store and menu data.

• Assist with quality assurance testing as required

• Complete timely and effective responses to data change requests through a ticketing system.

• Executes and documents quality assurance activities.

• Assist in system rollout activities as required.

• Participate in new system menu/data as training activities to support new systems as they are brought online.

• Analyze and summarize trouble ticket statistics to identify opportunities to improve process, eliminate consistent points of failure and educate internal customers.

• Collaborate and work respectfully with all IT and business team members.

• Perform other duties as required.


Interdependencies:

• Responds to inquiries and requests from store managers through Help Desk tickets or direct calls.

• Assists Franchisees with requests or questions regarding their online ordering setup.

• Works closely with the IT Development team on menu integration processes and for store systems testing.

• Works closely with the IT Help Desk to resolve Application data issues.


Competencies:

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Strong documentation skills

• Detail oriented with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proactive approach in identifying opportunities and/or heading off potential issues

• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

• Experience using a Service Desk ticketing system

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information


Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience using Microsoft Office especially proficient using Microsoft Excel

• Experience using IOS and Android Hardware and their applications

• Strong knowledge of HOA’s store technology footprint including HOA POS, NCR, Brink POS and Data Central

• Strong, working knowledge of HOA’s online ordering platforms, including but not limited to OLO, Door Dash, Uber Eats, Grub Hub

• Strong knowledge of POS computer hardware and software

• Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Win7, Win 8, Win 10)

• Experience in supporting data management activities in a restaurant or retail organization
