Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Clerk for a 1-2 month contract at our Huntington, NY office. This position offers the opportunity to support a small financial firm with a range of administrative tasks, including filing and organizing paperwork, updating documentation, and assisting with various office functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, file, and maintain physical and digital documents, ensuring proper categorization and easy retrieval.
  • Update and manage client and company records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Assist with document preparation and data entry as needed.
  • Perform general office duties including scanning, copying, and mailing documents.
  • Support team members with ad hoc administrative tasks and projects.
  • Assist with maintaining office supplies and ensuring the office space is organized and tidy.
  • Answer basic phone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous office or administrative experience.
  • Ability to work on a short-term contract, 5 days onsite.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Duration: 1-2 months (with potential for extension based on business needs).
