Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Human Resource Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations within our food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of the food manufacturing industry, including compliance with safety regulations, workforce management, and talent development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies tailored to the needs of a food manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for all levels of staff, from production line workers to managerial positions, ensuring the right talent is hired and integrated effectively.
  • Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels to meet production demands.
  • Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge, particularly in areas such as food safety, quality assurance, and production processes.
  • Implement and maintain safety programs and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of safety awareness among employees.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness within the industry while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, labor laws, and best practices in HR management, proactively adapting policies and procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Proven experience 4 years working in HR management roles within the food manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant employment laws, regulations, and safety standards, with a track record of ensuring compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their goals.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software applications.
