Impact Support Services is seeking part-time direct support professional (DSP) staff specific for an awake overnight staffing position. In this role, we seek someone who will be caring and compassionate, and practice excellent person-centered care to assist with passing meds, personal hygiene assistance, cleaning, personal/household needs, too. You will support individuals in their home and community as they live their best independent lives.

  • Follow individual care plans to help individuals work toward achieving goals.
  • Document as needed, from communicating with the team to daily notes and med passes.
  • Provide a safe place for everyone - following emergency and inspection procedures (house and site vehicle).
  • Be an example of positive communication and social skills.
  • Provide emergency coverage during inclement weather.
  • Maintain certifications: CPR, First Aid, NCI, Medication Administration, Abuse/Neglect Prevention, Positive Behavior Support, HIPAA, HCBS and any others required by the agency or supervisor. A full paid training is provided to you
Pay Range for this position is $17.50 to $23.00 and will be based on experience and education. You will receive an $.50 per hour rate increase after 6 months of employment and additional $.50 per hour after one year of employment.

Non-contact hours are paid at an alternative rate. Weekend hours have an additional $3/hour shift differential

Requirements

Role Requirements:
  • Candidate must be 18+ years of age
  • A Valid Driver's License with the ability to obtain a Class E Drivers License within 14 days of hire
  • Current Vehicle Insurance
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to pass driving and criminal background checks
  • 1+ years of relevant Direct Support Professional Experience preferred
  • Proven track record of 6+ months work history at one company
  • Excellent written communication
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to reliably commute to work in all weather conditions
