GENERAL FUNCTION

This role ensures exceptional patient experiences while assisting in selecting eyewear and other products, establishing the practice as the go-to destination for vision needs in the community.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Warmly welcomes all patients, prioritizing service and satisfaction
  • Identifies patient needs and connects them with practice offerings
  • Pays attention to details, consults with Optician when necessary
  • Demonstrates in-depth product knowledge and highlights product benefits
  • Anticipates and resolves issues, striving for long-term solutions
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Custom fits glasses and accurately inserts prescriptions
  • Commits to delivery schedules, gathers feedback, and seeks referrals
  • Strives for exceptional results in goals and competencies
  • Operates point-of-sale system with precision
  • Ensures cleanliness and organization of displays and inventory
  • Notifies management of safety opportunities
  • Adheres to attendance and dress code policies
  • Executes other tasks as delegated by Practice Manager
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional customer service and basic math skills
  • Proficient in effective selling techniques
  • Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale systems
  • Welcomes new technology and embraces change
  • Strong communication and listening skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience in eyecare and sales

Pay Range: The salary is determined based on various factors, including experience, qualifications, and local minimum wage laws. Additionally, you may be eligible for bonuses and commissions, along with a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, retirement savings, paid time off, and employee discounts.
