The CalSTRS Customer Service Division is searching for a dedicated individual to join the Training Team as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst. This role involves supporting various benefits and services, including Service Retirement, Disability and Survivor Benefits, and Member Account Services. The focus is on ensuring the financial security of California's educators. As the first point of contact for CalSTRS' members, the Customer Service team plays a vital role in delivering accurate and timely responses through multiple channels like telephone and written correspondence.

The Training Unit is responsible for providing training to new and existing Contact Center staff. The Senior Trainer will independently develop and deliver skills-based training to enhance retention and application of knowledge. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of adult learning techniques, experience in curriculum development, and excellent communication skills. They should also be able to work both independently and collaboratively, provide and receive feedback, and adapt to changing priorities.

Employees have the opportunity for a 5% salary increase annually based on performance evaluations until reaching the maximum salary for the position. We offer a hybrid work environment with a combination of on-site and remote work at our Headquarters in West Sacramento.
