Job Requirements - Inventory Material Handler
  • Hours: 3pm to 11:30PM
  • Pay Rate: $19/hr

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Inventory Material Handler is responsible for organizing floor inventory to enable quick addition to work order carts. Ensuring accurate selection of inventory, envelopes, and inserts is critical for operational success. Responsibilities include ordering inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and fulfilling other assigned duties.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Organize the floor inventory
  • Keep the area clean and debris-free
  • Maintain proper shelf space labeling
  • Ensure correct labeling of all boxes
  • Order inventory from the warehouse
  • Read work orders or requisitions carefully
  • Order the right stock in RIMS system
  • Track order completion time and urgency
  • Handle light-duty tasks (90% less than 10 pounds)
  • Lift moderate weights (10% 25 to 30 pounds)
  • Add inventory to work orders and carts accurately
  • Select the right envelopes and inserts
  • Use count scale for larger orders
  • Deliver materials using powered equipment safely
  • Return inventory to the warehouse
  • Follow through on orders and document completion times
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
