Project design, and management, of civil engineering projects, budgets, timelines, and staff
Maintains relationships with management, team members, and important clients and subcontractors
Coordinates new critical project partners and helps foster relationships between management and those new business prospects
Makes resource allocation and staffing decisions
Plans and coordinates the work of engineering staff
Oversees engineering staff and ensures that they meet goals and objectives.
Recruits additional engineering staff
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
Provides training and mentoring as needed

Qualifications

Professional Engineering License (NJ minimum, PA and other states desired)
Public Meetings experience (testimony and stakeholder)
Coastal Resiliency Design experience a plus
Coastal permitting experience a plus
Municipality experience a plus
Certified Municipal Engineer (CME) a plus
Must be organized, motivated, and reliable
Must be willing to work overtime on a limited basis to meet client needs
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to obtain government clearance
Must be able to pass drug tests and background screening
15+ years' experience in site engineering, stormwater management, utilities, wastewater, land use and/or municipal representation.
Experience necessary in the preparation of construction bid documents, construction inspection and land use permitting in the mid-Atlantic region.
Coastal permitting and engineering a plus.
