We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering and Operations to join our team at CSI International. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the facilities and engineering department, ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as experience with HVAC, boilers, and cooling towers.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all facilities and operations are in compliance with relevant regulations and codes, including FDA and EPA requirements.
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute projects related to facilities maintenance, engineering, and capital improvements.
  • Team Development: Supervise and train facilities maintenance and engineering employees, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with peers, subordinates, internal and external customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive facilities management experience, or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related management experience, or a 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related management experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of MEP, HVAC, boilers, chillers, air handlers, and cooling towers, as well as experience with project management software and tools.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Full knowledge of pertinent regulatory agencies and policies, codes, standards, and regulations that apply to plant operations and facilities maintenance.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with others at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercialized Sterile Manufacturing Experience: 10 years of experience working in commercialized sterile manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in the engineering function.
  • Project Management and Mathematical Skills: Excellent project management and mathematical skills, with the ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
