Job Summary

As a key member of our corporate leadership, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive safety program that ensures the well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a safety program that meets or exceeds industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with affiliate company safety directors to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization
  • Conduct regular audits and incident investigations to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage and mentor safety departments within affiliate companies
  • Develop and maintain safety training programs for employees and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal OSHA, and other relevant regulations
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address safety incidents and near-misses
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field, such as administration, management, construction, engineering, health, or safety
  • At least 10 years of relevant construction or industrial safety experience, with at least 5 years of senior management level experience
  • Knowledge of underground utility, foundation, overhead transmission and distribution electric, and highway/bridge work
  • Applicable health or safety certification or licensure, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and professional writing skills
