About The Role:

First Community Bank of Utah is looking for a Branch Manager responsible for overseeing the performance and operations of the Mountain Green branch.

We need a highly motivated individual with banking background to provide solutions, maintain and strengthen existing business relationships, and establish new connections to promote growth.

  • Maintain a professional demeanor when representing FCB with customers, businesses, community, suppliers, and other financial institutions.
  • Market to new and existing businesses and consumers to meet or surpass annual sales and deposit growth targets.
  • Supervise daily branch operations, address customer service concerns, handle reports, audits, and comply with regulations.

Attend management meetings, training sessions, and quarterly celebrations.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations, achieve a satisfactory branch audit, and take necessary actions to rectify any issues.
  • Discuss key operational matters affecting the branch with management.
  • Lead, coach, hire, and discipline branch staff; conduct performance evaluations and suggest appropriate personnel actions.

Promote the Bank's culture by embodying the mission, vision, and purpose statements and upholding our Moment of Truth Standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance, ensuring in-person contact with customers.
  • Provide exceptional Customer Service by demonstrating trust and diplomacy, using a pleasant tone and common courtesies.
  • Utilize organizational skills to multitask in a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic environment.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills.
  • Lead and manage the team, motivating and coaching members to achieve individual and branch goals.
  • Engage in Business Development through developing strategic partnerships.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Equivalent of a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course at a business or trade school.
  • 2-5 years experience in banking or a similar field.
  • Familiarity with bank products and services.

Experienced in Jack Henry, Synergy Teller, 4Sight & Excel.

Ability to mentor staff for personal and career development.

  • Familiarity with banking regulations including Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Customer Identification Policy, Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending, Regulation CC, Plastic Cards, and Funds Availability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Microsoft Excel, and various business applications.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills to handle a demanding workload.
  • Capable of understanding and following complex instructions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Working primarily in an office environment with regular customer interaction and branch support.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Required physical abilities include sitting, using hands for repetitive motions, talking, standing, walking, lifting, and reaching.

Operate standard office equipment, work on computers extensively, and lift up to 20 lbs.
