Job Description

This position is responsible for administering, supporting, and configuring platforms within the Pilot enterprise. The position will manage roles, licenses, plugins, and integrations across the platform.
  1. Expert and working knowledge of the Atlassian platform (beyond user level knowledge)
  2. Expert and working knowledge of Jira, Jira Apps/Plugins, and Confluence
  3. Understanding of additional task management platforms such as ServiceNow and Salesforce
  4. Administer, manage, and execute all aspects of platform activities to maintain functionality, system integrity, and overall health of the platform
  5. Advise on industry best practices towards platform capabilities and processes while delivering solutions to achieve operational goals
  6. Ensure platform schemas and workflows are supported and maintained
  7. Manage roles, licenses, plugins, and integrations across the platform
  8. Assist with fulfilling business requests while leveraging platform functionality and capabilities
  9. Coordinate and/or perform Level 2 and/or Level 3 support for platforms as needed
  10. Collaborate and participate in knowledge sharing across the PMO and leaders in IT, including preparing Knowledge articles within the platform as needed
  11. Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure Guests and Team Members are supported at the highest level
  12. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  13. Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Expert and working knowledge of the Atlassian platform (beyond user level knowledge)

  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree required; field of study in technology preferred
  • Minimum five years' experience in technology or related field required
  • Working knowledge of integrations with APIs, web services, file retrieval
  • Working knowledge of network protocols/technology, databases, and application servers
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills for diagnosis, evaluation and resolution of complex problem situations
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently to determine the appropriate course of action for issues and incidents
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsiblities simultaneously

Additional Information
  • Travel required less than 5%
  • Role will potentially require work outside or normal business hours, including nights and weekends to provide support as needed
