Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Service Manager in quoting, estimating, and managing upcoming service contracts.
  • Assign jobs to Service Technicians based on their expertise.
  • Proactively seek customer feedback and address issues promptly.
  • Review repair work orders for accuracy and oversee equipment release.
  • Supervise the service department and communicate effectively with the team.
  • Respond to customer complaints and maintain Contamination Control Guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to review department performance regularly.
  • Showcase technical expertise on all equipment within the dealership's responsibility.
  • Adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and present a professional image.
  • Engage in company-sponsored training and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Prioritize customer service and teamwork while upholding company values.
  • Other assigned duties as necessary.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Occasionally oversee subordinate tasks.
  • Organize task delegation and provide constructive feedback to employees.
  • Train and develop employees in line with department goals.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and offer technical support when needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school, technical school education, or equivalent experience required.
  • Preferred experience in heavy equipment, trucks, or engines.
  • Excellent customer service, computer, and technical skills.
  • Strong communication and time management abilities.
  • Capable of multitasking effectively.
