Automotive Cashier and Booker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cashier/Booker to join our Service Department at Dale Holdings, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer relations, automotive experience, and excellent communication skills.

• Customer Service: Greet customers at the cashier window in a professional and pleasant manner, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience.
• Cash Handling: Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers, record amounts received, and make change as necessary.
• Refunds and Credits: Provide cash refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Cash Drawer Reconciliation: Reconcile the cash drawer daily, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
• Communication: Refer customers with questions or concerns to the service advisor or other appropriate individuals, providing clear and concise information.
• Customer Complaints: Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise, escalating issues to management as necessary.
• Clerical Duties: Maintain and file repair orders, parts invoices, and rental forms, ensuring accuracy and organization.
• Administrative Support: Provide clerical assistance to the Parts and Service departments, supporting the team's efforts to deliver exceptional service.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on new products and services offered by the dealership, their features, and value, as well as any price changes.
• Repair Order Verification: Verify the accuracy of repair order information, ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors.
• Charge Assignment: Assign charges to repair orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Technician Labor Flagging: Flag technician labor, ensuring accurate and timely billing.

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in customer relations and automotive experience.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licenses and Certifications: Valid TX driver's license and a safe driving record according to dealership standards.
• Skills: Positive attitude, professional appearance, focused, dependable, honest, and trustworthy.
• Communication: Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to interact and converse with customers in a professional manner.
• Background Check: Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
