Job Title: Entry-Level Production Operator

  • Operate extrusion systems and production equipment efficiently and safely to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Ensure product quality by monitoring temperature, conducting quality audits, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Participate in maintenance, troubleshoot processing systems, and optimize performance.
  • Promote a positive team environment and uphold safety and quality protocols.

Location: Visalia, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Operate extrusion systems and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality management policies.
  • Monitor product quality and report any deviations from standards.
  • Participate in sanitation, housekeeping, and maintenance activities.
  • Uphold safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of related manufacturing experience.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow work instructions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Continuous standing and walking throughout the day.
  • Lifting objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Occasional climbing of ladders and working at heights.

Environment:

  • Exposure to moving parts/equipment, dust, noise, and outdoor conditions.
  • Occasional exposure to chemicals used in the manufacturing process.
