JOB SUMMARY

Join our team as an entry-level management position focusing on Restaurants/Bars and Room Service.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related fields.
OR

  • 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related fields from an accredited university with 1 year of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related areas.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Assisting in Management of Restaurant Team

  • Addressing employee queries and concerns.
  • Monitoring employee performance and providing constructive feedback.
  • Supervising daily operations and stepping in for the Director of Restaurants or Restaurant Manager when needed.
  • Communicating departmental goals effectively during meetings.

Conducting Day-to-Day Restaurant Operations

  • Ensuring all staff have necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Reporting food quality and service level issues to the Chef and Restaurant Manager.
  • Overseeing compliance with restaurant policies and standards.
  • Monitoring alcohol service to comply with regulations.
  • Helping achieve or exceed budget targets.
  • Performing restaurant duties as required.
  • Opening and closing restaurant shifts.

Providing Exceptional Customer Service

  • Gathering guest feedback on quality and service.
  • Supervising staffing levels to meet service and financial goals.
  • Encouraging employees to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Resolving guest issues and complaints promptly.
  • Setting a positive example for guest relations.
  • Reviewing guest feedback and satisfaction results with staff.
  • Welcoming and assisting guests.

Assisting in Human Resource Activities

  • Supervising ongoing training programs.
  • Utilizing training tools for employees.
  • Communicating performance expectations clearly.
  • Providing continuous performance coaching and counseling.

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.48 to $31.73.
