JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordination of maintenance, installation, and repair projects.
- Allocation of work crews based on job requirements.
- Supervision and inspection of maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensuring a safe environment for employees and customers.
- Conducting safety inspections and responding to customer complaints.
- Monitoring work progress and quality of private contractors.
- Developing operational scheduling and standard procedures.
- Responding to emergency calls and working extended hours when necessary.
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental protection.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or science.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
- Understanding of water distribution network operations.
- Strong managerial and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and work force management software.
- Effective supervisory and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction and maintenance practices related to water distribution systems.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Required certifications/licenses: CDL, NJDEP Water Distribution Class.
- Walking on uneven terrain, moderate lifting, sitting for long periods.
- Clear vision, keen hearing, ability to speak clearly and smell for dangerous conditions.
