JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordination of maintenance, installation, and repair projects.
  • Allocation of work crews based on job requirements.
  • Supervision and inspection of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensuring a safe environment for employees and customers.
  • Conducting safety inspections and responding to customer complaints.
  • Monitoring work progress and quality of private contractors.
  • Developing operational scheduling and standard procedures.

  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental protection.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or science.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Understanding of water distribution network operations.
  • Strong managerial and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and work force management software.
  • Effective supervisory and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of construction and maintenance practices related to water distribution systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Required certifications/licenses: CDL, NJDEP Water Distribution Class.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Walking on uneven terrain, moderate lifting, sitting for long periods.
  • Clear vision, keen hearing, ability to speak clearly and smell for dangerous conditions.
