Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Box Plant in Morganton, North Carolina. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment and machinery
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth operation of equipment and minimize downtime
  • Participate in preventive maintenance activities, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the corrugated packaging or printing industry
  • Technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades, or equivalent experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively with production teams and other maintenance personnel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
