Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at ASE Management. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance: Implement and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all equipment and building systems, including regular inspections and scheduled maintenance.
  • Facilities Operations: Perform daily facility inspections, submit reports, and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for services such as landscaping, snow removal, and pest control.
  • Building Maintenance: Inspect and maintain high-maintenance items, including exterior doors and security systems, and supervise cleaning company personnel and porter services.
  • Energy Management: Review and operate the energy management system, adjust lighting schedules, and optimize energy efficiency and reduce energy costs.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to operational problems and initiate emergency response plans, and perform emergency repairs, including pipe leaks and exterior door locks.
  • Maintenance Contract Management: Report on maintenance contracts, including cleaning services, snow removal, lawn maintenance, and trash removal.
  • Move-In/Move-Out: Coordinate punch lists for move-out, supervise moving contractors, and monitor equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • Skills: Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical, and proficiency in using maintenance management software.
  • Personal Skills: Personable, good oral and written communication skills, good phone and people skills, organized, proactive, detail-oriented, customer-focused attitude, and ability to pass drug tests and have a clean driving record.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with on-call responsibilities. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
