The Men's Opportunities for Re-Entry (M.O.R.E ) Center will build upon other residential program's operating in Denver.

This team will be focused on diversity, inclusion and teamwork through a lens of supporting program participants re-entering the community.

Our Program is a unique reentry experience for men returning to the Denver community after incarceration in the Department of Corrections and for men directly sentenced to Community Corrections.

Our Program provides a reentry experience that is anchored in evidence based, trauma informed and safe practices.

Our Program recognizes that men enter the criminal justice system often having prior or current experiences of abuse, mental illness, substance use, economic and social marginality, homelessness, and complex relationships.

Our Program encourages candidates to apply who reflect the diversity of the participants in the program. Successful candidates must complete a background investigation that encompasses the applicant's employment and criminal history. We value diverse experiences, prior contact with the criminal legal system is not exclusionary for most applicants. Candidates cannot not be under current criminal justice supervision.

The MORE Center is a residential re-entry facility and operates on a 24/7 basis, team members should expect to work non-traditional shifts and workday.

Shifts include day shift (7A - 3P), swing shift (3P - 11P) and overnight shift (11P - 7A) and must be open to flexible scheduling.

This team will be located at 570 W 44th Ave, in Denver, CO and has free employee parking and is located 3 blocks from the 41st and Fox RTD Lightrail station.


Job responsibilities include:
Conducts headcounts and walk throughsPerforms searches of participants, participant property, and of the facility.
Monitors physical, psychological, emotional safety of participants, shares observations with supervisors and care management teamOversees participant sign in/outPerforms substance use monitoring (including urine screens)

Monitor's medicationsResponds to rule breaking behaviorPractice's techniques of behavior change and motivational enhancementUses evidence-based behavior changes practices including, but not limited to core correctional practices and behavioral interventionsUses trauma informed approachesWorks shifts to support 24/7/365 operations coverage to include sister facility as neededPerforming first aid tasks in emergency situationsAbout YouOur ideal candidate will:

Bilingual in Spanish and English (not a requirement)Have experience working in a related fieldSkilled use of software and business application including, but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and databasesCommunicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writingCommitment to working collaboratively within a team to ensure timely completion of work.

Education Requirement:
Minimum of two years of higher education, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred, or any combination of education, training or experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the job

Experience Requirement:
Experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities preferred

Education and Experience Equivalency:

One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.

Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.

License/Certification Requirement:
Ability to attain, or possession of Adult CPR, AED, Naloxone, and First Aid certifications after date of hire. Maintain continuing education hours annually or as required. Possession of a valid Drivers License by date of hire.

By position, possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement required Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
