Our client, a leading engineering company, is seeking a Commissioning Lead for an Onshore Landstation HVDC project in Plymouth, United Kingdom.

This role will initially be based in the Hague, Netherlands before relocating to Büttel, Germany.

Responsibilities:


As the Commissioning Lead, you will work closely with the Commissioning Manager to plan and execute safe and efficient pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing.

This will involve developing electrical testing and energization plans and procedures, defining commissioning team activities and workforce requirements, and overseeing their implementation.

You will also be responsible for liaising with construction teams, clients, and local agencies, as well as participating in the development of training programs.

Safety will be a top priority, and you will contribute to the "lesson learned" database.

Qualifications:


We are looking for candidates with at least 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, working for a major contractor or consultant.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, with a preference for a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.

You should have played a significant role in at least three major projects and have over 5 years of experience with HV/MV/LV equipment.
