Job Title: Heavy-Duty Truck Technician

Overview:

This role involves conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks. TEC Equipment stands out for its in-house advanced training programs and offers technicians the opportunity to attend training sessions with travel costs covered. The company prides itself on providing a family-friendly work environment and offers a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 based on experience and skill level.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostic tests, and repairs
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance services
  • Troubleshoot and repair various vehicle components
  • Maintain detailed vehicle records
  • Ensure work area is safe and organized
  • Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards
  • Stay updated on technical skills through training
  • Verify vehicle performance through test drives
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in commercial truck classes 6 & 8
  • Proficiency in maintenance and repair tasks
  • Skilled in diagnosing diesel engines and various truck systems
  • Basic computer skills and ability to input maintenance records
  • Physically fit to meet job demands
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Valid driver's license, CDL preferred
