Job Summary

The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for installing and integrating audio-visual equipment, including cables, routers, switches, cameras, and display systems. This role requires a strong understanding of cable flow and installation, as well as the ability to read and interpret wire diagrams and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and terminate cables, including SVID, Composite, RBGHV CAT 5, CAT 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, and DVI
  • Configure and program audio-visual equipment, including video routers and switches
  • Install and mount display systems, including wall panels and display screens
  • Troubleshoot complex audio-visual equipment and resolve technical issues
  • Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts, including recording of serial model numbers
  • Complete daily reports, project photos, timecards, and project status
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of experience in audio-visual integration technical environment
  • Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables, and network cable testers
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
  • Knowledge of basics of AC/D voltage
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use various web-based portals
Working Environment

This role requires 100% travel to reach project locations. Employees working in hazardous conditions and areas are required to comply with all applicable safety provisions and to use PPE.

Compensation and Benefits

$25.00 - $30.00 based on experience
