Responsibilities:

Complete field environmental inspections of waste, water, and air systems.

Maintain environmental management systems and plans that identify the location of hazardous sites, chemical inventories, and complaint investigations.

Implement spill prevention programs and hazardous waste regulations.

Develop and recommend solutions to eliminate pollution and environmental hazards.

Collect samples of waste, soil, and water as needed.

Act as the power plants liaison for environmental compliance concerns.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or relevant fields.

A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role (power plant technician or engineering experience or environmental compliance)

Knowledge of regulatory requirements, interpretations, and health and safety programs.

Aptitude to solve problems quickly with advanced conflict resolution skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Outstanding analytical abilities.
