Job Description

Function and Purpose

Sika is on the lookout for a Territory Sales Representative to manage the AR, KS & MO regions. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales growth and profitability within Sika's Resinous Flooring Market. This is a remote position, ideally suited for candidates located in the specified geographic areas, with preference given to Kansas City or St. Louis residents.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales growth and profit targets for the entire Sikafloor product range.
  • Nurture and expand existing accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stimulate demand through specification and proactive account management.
  • Efficiently pursue leads and close opportunities provided by regional Cross-Selling Teams, Business Development Managers, and Inside Sales/Marketing.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all Sikafloor resinous products and systems.
  • Maintain a prominent presence in the industry through active involvement in association activities.
  • Collaborate with the Sika A/R department to oversee company credit and payment policies with the contractor network.
Other duties as assigned by Regional Manager.

Qualifications
  • Preferably possess a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the construction/contracting sector.
  • Demonstrated track record as a skilled relationship builder.
  • Familiarity with the flooring industry and related products is advantageous.
  • Proven capability to independently manage a large sales territory.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal & written communication, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively, exceeding 50%, through various means of transportation.
  • Hold a valid driver's license in good standing.
