Job Description

Sales Growth:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to surpass sales targets for Containers, Ground Level Offices, Singlewide Modular Structures, Complex Modular Structures (in specific markets), and value-added products.
  • Allocate roughly 40% of your time to outbound prospecting, 30% to converting inbound inquiries, and the remaining percentage to account growth and face-to-face interactions with potential customers.
  • Identify and prioritize promising customers, industries, and market segments for business expansion.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline with a focus on converting leads into successful sales.
  • Pursue a large number of significant project and transactional opportunities while providing comprehensive space solutions and value-added products.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Foster and sustain enduring customer relationships through regular communication, on-site visits, and exceptional service.
  • Comprehend customer requirements, offer product suggestions, and promptly address queries or issues.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop customized solutions that cater to their specific container and modular structure needs.
  • Leverage the Salesforce CRM system to monitor performance and manage customer engagements efficiently.

Market Analysis:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities within your designated territory.
  • Conduct thorough market research to uncover growth opportunities and areas for differentiation.
  • Supply management with feedback on market insights and customer responses.

Quoting and Pricing:

  • Utilize a consultative sales approach where appropriate to optimize pricing strategies and monthly lease rates.
  • Create precise and competitive price quotes for potential clients.
  • Negotiate sales agreement terms to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee smooth order processing and delivery.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales projections using CRM tools.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities for managerial evaluation.
  • Meet daily/weekly targets on key performance indicators to achieve set goals.

Team Collaboration:

  • Engage with cross-functional teams, such as operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project completion.
  • Offer guidance and assistance to colleagues as needed to accomplish collective sales objectives.

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
1 year of outbound prospecting experience or 1 year at WSMM
Willingness and ability to travel 10%-20% for field visits with key customers (some travel involved)
Demonstrated professional communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and virtual meetings

COMPENSATION

Base Salary: USD $50,000 to $65,000
