The Albany FireWolves, a proud member of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), based in Albany, NY, are offering an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Intern for the upcoming season. As part of our team, you will have the chance to not only gain hands-on experience but also build a solid portfolio to kickstart your career.

We are on the hunt for individuals who are creative, organized, and thrive under pressure. If you can juggle multiple projects, work both independently and collaboratively, and meet set objectives, you could be the perfect fit for us.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in designing and implementing social media campaigns
  • Create content calendars for various social media platforms
  • Generate engaging content and track performance
  • Conduct social media research and contribute to campaign strategies
  • Engage with the audience and brainstorm creative content ideas
  • Write compelling social media captions
  • Contribute to video and photo content creation
  • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms

Qualifications:
  • Availability for all Albany FireWolves home games
  • Studying or holding a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Digital Media
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in social media tools and platforms
  • Knowledge of social media analytics
  • Creative with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Passion for sports and the sports industry
