TITLE

Coordinator, Transfer Agreements & Compliance Monitoring

JOB SUMMARY

The Coordinator for Transfer Agreements and Compliance Monitoring is responsible for supporting and maintaining collaborative partnerships with community colleges, developing transfer pathways, and producing analytical reports that support undergraduate education, advising, developmental education, curriculum, college readiness, TSI requirements, excess hours, and retention. Reporting directly to the Director of Transfer Articulation and Compliance, the coordinator will assist in tracking transfer agreements, updating guided pathways, and maintaining web pages. In addition to creating and maintaining databases for undergraduate-related information, obtaining data reports related to transfer students, and communicating with students and internal stakeholders about college readiness legislation, processes, and procedures. This position is responsible for independently performing responsible and confidential duties and performing non-standardized work requiring the employee to manage production methods, schedules, and priorities. Work is performed under general supervision, and performance evaluation is based on the completion of assignments and results obtained. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation system and in accordance with the University Policies and Procedures.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to: Director, Transfer Articulation & Compliance

Supervises: No supervisory duties

ESSENTIAL DUTIES - May include, but not limited to the following:

Develops and produces statistical and analytical reports and analyzes student transcripts for the purposes of determining college readiness status.
Collects data for reports on success rates of students in developmental education courses and develops comparisons with peer institutions.
Assists the Director of Transfer Articulation and Compliance in identifying potential community college partners and conducting outreach to explore opportunities for articulation and transfer agreements.
Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with community colleges, including administrators, faculty, and staff, to foster collaborative partnerships.
Partners with Institutional Research to prepare and disseminate reports for all transfer students and programs. Compiles and analyzes college readiness/developmental education data for institutional and state reporting.
Regularly reviews and revises established articulation agreements and pathways to keep them current, ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.
Develops transfer guides, degree maps, and other resources to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for students.
Assists with training sessions (individual and/or workshops) for advisors and other university components on developing articulation agreements and guided pathways, implementing undergraduate policies and procedures, and ensuring consistency across the university in applying current federal and state legislation.
Assists the Director of Transfer Articulation and Compliance in ensuring institutional compliance with state legislation on TSI student holds and that registration restrictions are functioning properly (in collaboration with Faculty, IT, University Scheduling, and Institutional Research); add or remove holds and notify advisors.
Assists with the completion of the Developmental Education Survey remitted to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board annually, and in the development and management of workflow processes.
Answers student, faculty, and staff questions about college readiness and course placement.
Assists the Director of Transfer Compliance and Articulation with the core curriculum evaluation process for transfer course applicability.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES

Provides support during FTIC and Transfer Orientation.
Provides support to the TWU dual credit program by using OnBase to navigate workflows and interpret transcripts to determine waiver status; Analyze TSI waivers for Dual Credit students and update application status.
Performs other duties as requested.
EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree required.

EXPERIENCE

Two years of university experience or related work experience.

REQUIREMENT

Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position.

Ability to adjust to multi-task work.
Knowledge of general degree requirements and processes associated with higher education such as registration, class schedules, etc.
Ability to interpret state legislation related to college readiness, transfer students, field of study, core curriculum, etc.
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the public and to represent the department and university in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
Working knowledge of office practices and methods.
Ability to use a personal computer and other office equipment, including related university software and email.
