Responsibilities:

  • Receiving incoming shipments and verifying their contents against purchase orders or packing lists.
  • Utilizing equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to unload and transport materials to designated storage areas.
  • Organizing and storing materials in accordance with inventory management procedures, ensuring proper rotation to prevent spoilage or obsolescence.
  • Fulfilling orders by accurately picking items from storage locations using hand-held scanners or other technology.
  • Packing outbound shipments securely, labeling packages with shipping information, and arranging for transportation carriers to pick up deliveries.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and conducting routine inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Assisting with audits or cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and identify any potential issues.
  • Operating equipment safely and adhering to all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment to facilitate efficient material handling operations.
  • Collaborating with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and meet production or customer demands effectively.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED Required
Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
