About Job Title: Research and Development Technician

Job Description:
  • Assist the Research and Development Team in daily activities such as sample management, testing, and production of materials
  • Experience with manufacturing solvent and solventless propellants is desired
  • Background in machining and/or tooling is a plus
  • Highly motivated, organized, and methodical candidates are encouraged to apply

The ideal candidate will take initiative in designing safe and efficient manufacturing methods, conducting experiments with corrosive materials, operating lab equipment, and maintaining proper records.

This is a day shift position with a 9/80 schedule, offering every other Friday off. Some flexibility for evenings, weekends, and off-shift support is required.


Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • High School/GED
  • Experience with machinery or propellants
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Associates' or Bachelor's Degree in a Science Field
  • Knowledge of DOT and DOD shipping regulations
  • Experience in writing and executing work instructions and test plans
  • Proficiency in packaging and shipping hazardous materials
  • Statistical data analysis and process control experience
  • Prior experience in production or Research and Development
  • Facilities monitoring and upkeep experience
