OverviewThe Operations Specialist will perform general labor duties as assigned.

Duties included but not limited to building conversions for various events, set up and breakdown of chairs, tables, staging, housekeeping, etc.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $16 to $18.00 depending on maintenance experience.

Read and interpret paperwork regarding room set-upsSet-up and tear down a variety of equipment, including, but not limited to chairs, tables, staging, risers, trash cans, dance floors, coat racks, table skirting, carpet, pipe & drapeSweep, mop, scrub & wax floors, wash walls, windows, stainless steel, counter tops and woodworkClean and maintain restrooms to the highest quality of service while replenishing suppliesRemove stains, clean and extract carpetResponsible to properly clean and maintain a specific area of the facilityDusts, polish, arrange and move furniture and equipmentRemove rubbish and wastePerform facility maintenance tasks as assignedReport defective equipment, facility damage, areas of the facility requiring cleaning and incorrect or improper set-ups to supervisors in a timely mannerPerform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent GED preferredMust be constantly aware of changing events, such as staff or supply shortagesAble to work from general instructions and specifications, with minimal supervisionAble to work effectively in a service oriented environment subject to frequently changing prioritiesAble to respond calmly to public concerns; must be accountable and responsiblePresents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.

Able to stand for extended periods of timeAble to lift, bend, kneel, twist and stretchAble to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
