Your responsibilities will include leading a team of technicians to ensure optimal performance and maintenance of locomotives. As a part of our Field Services Americas team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customer's operations and driving continuous improvement.

Who will you be working with?Reporting to the regional site leader in Barstow, CA, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and ensuring the success of your team. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity for growth within the company.
What do we want to know about you?
- Strong leadership presence, ability, and prior experience
- Undergraduate degree (preferably in a technical discipline) or equivalent work experience
- Experience in shop operations or engineering
- Ability to work in a shop environment and on various shifts
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Interpersonal, leadership, and influencing skills
- Wabtec Level 2 Certification preferred
- Dependability and teamwork skills
What will your typical day look like?
- Providing leadership and training to Wabtec employees
- Offering technical expertise and services to railroad employees
- Collaborating with customers to drive continuous improvement
- Coordinating quality and process improvement programs
- Establishing production plans and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Managing software systems for safety, quality, and production
- Handling operational risk assessments and other duties as required
