The Business Development Agent's primary focus will be to manage new unit acquisition and execute the growth strategy for this thriving multi-faceted organization.

The Business Development Agent will be responsible for exemplifying the company culture as well as promoting the company as the Vacation Destination, Real Estate Provider and Property Manager of Choice

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Execute on the company's proven strategies to meet new unit onboarding (organic growth) goals including but not limited to:
  • Managing email marketing strategy
  • Blanket strategies
  • Building strategies
  • Targeted unit strategies
  • Designing mailers and managing mailing strategy
  • Blanket strategies
  • Building strategies
  • Targeted unit strategies
  • Managing Realtor Referral technology
  • Managing and enriching relationships with local Real Estate sales brokers
  • Develop new strategies to bring new properties into the management program that meets the criteria established by our executive management team. This includes communications, meetings with owners, and contract negotiation
  • Achieve annual goals for adding properties to rental program. Develop targeted communication plan to reach property owners. Monitor and report on status each week / month / quarter / year.
  • Full understanding and ability to answer owner questions regarding management policies, including a thorough understanding of the rental agreement
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of hospitality trends, especially in property management
  • Stays current with information on operational practices of other vacation rental operations within the local operating area, including:
  • Management contracts (terms, fees, etc.)
  • Attends all appropriate department and division meetings, with particular emphasis on strong communication and positive relationships with all organizational teams
  • Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all company provided services to both property owners and vacation rental guests
  • Interacts with staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
  • Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
  • Communicates all pertinent information to other members of the Property Management and Owner Relations team
  • Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment
  • Maintains a professional appearance and follows all company dress code standards
  • Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • NC Real Estate Broker's License is required
  • Previous experience in Vacation Rentals and Real Estate Sales preferred
