Your recommendations will play a pivotal role in guiding leadership on necessary actions based on investigations conducted in compliance with relevant laws and SCE policies.
You'll provide valuable coaching and guidance to employees and leaders, analyzing complex cases to offer appropriate recommendations. Additionally, you'll conduct reviews, conflict resolutions, and training sessions to ensure a positive work environment. Your contributions will not only impact the company but also help in creating a cleaner and brighter future for all.
A Glimpse Into Your Role - Think Big, Work Smart, Shine Bright
- Assist leaders in a wide range of investigations.
- Handle various investigations, including those involving executives, senior leadership, and employees, with minimal direction.
- Define the scope of investigations, plan, and identify individuals to interview.
- Review laws, policies, and historical investigations to identify trends and necessary actions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide briefings on investigation results and proposed actions.
- Prepare detailed and factual reports to support investigation conclusions and recommendations.
Key Requirements
- Minimum seven years of experience as an HR Generalist.
- At least five years of Employee Relations experience.
- Strong grasp of state and federal labor laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience coaching employees and leadership at all levels.
- Ability to evaluate documents, data, and assess facts accurately.
- Skilled in fostering collaborative partnerships both internally and externally.
- Create an inclusive work environment that upholds the company's values and interests consistently.
Additional Details
- This is a full-time position with an estimated 12-month duration and eligibility for company benefits.
- Initially based in Pomona, the role will transition to Rosemead after two years.
- Offering a hybrid work mode with flexibility to work remotely on certain days.
- Travel requirement within the SCE service territory may involve up to 15%.
