Job Overview:
As an Epic Principal Trainer-Interm-DIS-Core at our University, you will analyze and evaluate information system training needs, enhance productivity, develop personalized skills, and improve individual and organizational performance to drive business outcomes. Additionally, you will conduct training programs for information systems and user personnel.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, or a relevant field along with three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Not Applicable

Skills & Abilities:

Proficiency in training methodologies, customer service standards, and computer systems. Ability to identify training objectives, design training plans, and facilitate information system training. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Become an expert in at least one Epic application and its related workflows.
  • Design, develop, and implement training programs for specific applications.
  • Develop and maintain application curriculums, training materials, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with super users to enhance the use of Epic systems.
  • Facilitate user training sessions and handle Landesk tickets related to Epic training.
  • Work closely with the build team for assigned Epic applications.
  • Train internal trainers for user training and assessments, ensuring effective training delivery.
  • Communicate clearly through verbal, written, and digital channels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Occasional exposure to challenging physical environments, working with potentially dangerous equipment, and occasional travel may be required.
