Position: Leadership Specialist

As a Leadership Specialist within the HR department, your primary focus will be to empower current and future leaders to drive the business forward, elevate their teams, and advance their careers. By providing personalized mentorship and tailored leadership development, you will nurture confident and dynamic leaders who can inspire others to uphold our culture and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and uphold H&M Group Leadership principles within the Region
  • Assess developmental needs and knowledge gaps in collaboration with the HR Business Line
  • Guide the organization in creating individualized leadership development strategies for current and future leaders
  • Deliver relevant leadership development initiatives, ensuring a comprehensive approach to leadership enhancement
  • Evaluate the impact of interventions and offer feedback to the Community of Expertise and the business
  • Promote an inclusive leadership environment to maximize leadership potential in alignment with local Inclusion & Diversity objectives
  • Engage with the global leadership community, partnering with external entities, thought leaders, and industry peers to stay informed of progressive practices
  • Conduct leadership programs for senior executive teams as required
  • Cultivate a pool of capable leaders with advanced skills, developing leaders capable of guiding the organization towards its strategic goals. Ensure leaders are well-versed in the H&M Group leadership standards and values expectations
  • Possible travel of up to 20% depending on business needs

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Leadership Development experience
  • Prior Retail Management Experience is essential
  • An academic degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional background
  • Skilled culture advocate dedicated to embodying and championing our brand values
  • Thorough understanding of various leadership models and the ability to adapt leadership styles to motivate and guide teams effectively
  • Demonstrated expertise in facilitating and delivering training programs
  • Proficient in continuous learning, eager to embrace new knowledge, technologies, and industry trends
  • Familiarity with assessment tools and adult learning theories
  • Proficiency in content curation and instructional design

Compensation: Salary range from $76,144 to $85,662 annually*
