Essential FunctionsLead water fitness classes following YMCA or USWFA Instructor Guidelines, Protocols, and Visions of ExcellenceEnforce aquatic rules and policiesPrepare progressive exercise plans for program participantsRecord and maintain attendance records dailySet up facility or equipment, store equipment, and secure facility and equipment upon completion of each classAct as a Primary Responder in case of injury, accident, or illness in pool area and provide backup to lifeguards as needed in emergencies and crowd control.
