Position Overview

The role is situated in a vibrant 55+ community, focusing on enhancing the well-being of senior residents through engaging aquatic fitness sessions.

Svetness Personal Training is seeking dynamic fitness professionals who are enthusiastic about leading water-based group exercise classes tailored for older adults, seniors, or individuals with mobility limitations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate group water fitness sessions
  • Create tailored exercise programs for participants
  • Track and manage attendance records utilizing the Mindbody application
  • Serve as a Primary Responder for any incidents or health issues occurring in the pool area
  • Design and execute programs aligned with the community's objectives and policies
  • Organize activities that are culturally significant and suitable for participants
  • Uphold aquatic regulations and guidelines
  • Comply with the standards of the indoor pool facility

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least one year of experience in leading water aerobics classes
  • Basic understanding of exercise science, including anatomy and physiology
  • Physically capable of demonstrating various aqua exercise techniques
  • Adept at identifying potential risks and hazards
  • Possession of a current USWFA Water Fitness Instructor Certification or equivalent
  • Current certifications in CPR, AED, and Lifeguarding

Additional Requirements:

  • Punctuality for scheduled classes is essential
  • Reliable transportation is necessary to reach the community
  • Availability to conduct classes weekly
  • Prior experience in group fitness instruction is preferred
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a passion for health and fitness
