We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe.
As a Medical Scribe, you will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare providers with accurate and timely medical documentation.
This position offers valuable experience in the medical field and an opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals.Responsibilities:
- Transcribe and type medical reports, including patient histories, physical examinations, diagnostic tests, treatments, and procedures
- Accurately record patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Assist healthcare providers during patient visits by documenting relevant information in realtime
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Retrieve and organize medical records for review by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and complete documentation
- Follow up on any missing or incomplete documentation as directed by the healthcare provider
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Scribe is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong attention to detail and excellent typing skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
As a Medical Scribe, you will gain valuable experience working alongside healthcare professionals and enhancing your knowledge of medical documentation.
Please note that this is a paid position. We value our employees' contributions and offer competitive compensation.Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
