Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant Scribe to join our team at White Plains Hospital. As a Medical Assistant Scribe, you will perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to support our physicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with patient care and administrative tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Perform clerical and information technology functions, such as data entry, scheduling, and communication with patients and families.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards and ensuring the proper handling and disposal of medical waste.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; successful completion of a medical assisting program or certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant, with experience in scribing and electronic medical records a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
