Account Payable Analyst

The Accounts Payable Analyst should demonstrate efficiency and possess a driven mindset. This individual will contribute value to the organization as a whole and must deliver at a high standard.
Accounts Payable Analyst Responsibilities:
- Examine and handle vendor invoices with precision and promptness.
- Organize and execute payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) to vendors following payment terms and company guidelines.
- Manage vendor records, including contact details, payment terms, and tax identification numbers. Interact with vendors to resolve inquiries and issues.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and settle discrepancies with vendors and internal units.
- Analyze accounts payable data to detect patterns, irregularities, and opportunities for process enhancements.
- Create and distribute reports on accounts payable metrics, such as aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and payment timetables.
- Confirm adherence to relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations in accounts payable procedures.
Accounts Payable Analyst Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable.
- Associate's/Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting tools.
- Keen attention to detail.
