THE DEPARTMENT

Outreach, Recruitment & Educational Partnerships (OREP) focuses on outreach and recruitment of potential domestic undergraduate students, playing a vital role in enrollment planning. OREP is dedicated to enhancing the university's image and programs, attracting a diverse pool of high-achieving applicants, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external partners.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Campus Visit Program Coordination and Lead Responsibilities

  • Coordinate procedures for the Campus Visit Program, manage tour activities, and oversee the welcome reception.
  • Act as the main point of contact for on-campus and off-campus tour inquiries.
  • Develop communication strategies with external tour organizers and handle special tour requests.
  • Generate tour reports, conduct post-tour surveys, and analyze feedback for enhancements.
  • Supervise the Welcome Center's daily operations and appearance.
  • Lead the Visitor Services Assistant, providing support with daily tasks, tour arrangements, and VIP tours.
  • Collaborate with various campus departments, update information guides, and oversee student assistants.
  • Design program tactics, evaluate student outcomes, and ensure alignment with university branding.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as recordkeeping, correspondence, and virtual experience development.

Program Coordination and Development

  • Maintain the Welcome Center's daily functions.
  • Provide guidance for the welcome reception area and assist with guest interactions and inquiries.
  • Organize presentations and activities for the Welcome Center.
  • Update the Welcome Center's equipment and appearance in collaboration with campus partners.
  • Lead student assistants, handling their schedules, training, and daily tour activities.
  • Develop program strategies, utilize data collection methods to achieve program goals.
  • Analyze student outcomes, deliver reports with analytical insights from the Campus Tour program.
