Job Details:
We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented HYBRID Accountant to join our Entertainment team. This role offers a unique blend of finance and engineering, allowing you to bring financial expertise to complex projects. With a hybrid work model, you'll handle various accounting tasks like financial statement management, payables/receivables, and general ledger.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile general ledger entries
- Conduct financial audits and resolve discrepancies
- Optimize accounting processes using JD Edwards, Oracle, and Excel
- Collaborate with departments to provide financial insights
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning
- Offer advisory services on internal controls
- Document accounting policies to enhance internal controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year in accounting or similar role
- Proficiency in financial software like JD Edwards and Oracle
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Experience in financial analysis and forecasting
