What you will be doing (responsibilities):

  • Produce plans and drawings as assigned with minimal instruction using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Read and produce legal descriptions.
  • Visit construction sites to observe progress and to determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications.
  • Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
  • Exercise broad knowledge of the design process and understand company technical standards.
What you'll need to be considered (qualifications):
  • Associate degree or Professional Degree in Drafting/Design/Architecture or equivalent experience or accreditation.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software (required).
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of surveying principles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical and construction document production experience.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of building codes, building systems, and Architectural codes.
  • Experience with coordinating multidisciplinary consultants such as MPE, structural, and civil.
  • Understanding of the tasks associated with the preparation of construction documents.
