Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Design Engineer to join our team in Tampa, Florida. As a key member of our aviation team, you will be responsible for designing and developing airport projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and other infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop airport projects, including improvements to runways, taxiways, aprons, and other infrastructure
  • Work with diverse clients to understand their needs and develop solutions
  • Produce complete design phase deliverables, including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
  • Collaborate with internal and external design teams to ensure project success
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • 4+ years of related experience
  • Passed the FE exam, with intent to pursue PE
  • Strong working knowledge of CAD programs, including AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Skills
  • PE
  • Aviation civil experience
  • Licensed pilot or other aviation-related experience
