Job Overview: Community Manager

What You'll Be Doing

Leadership


- Recruit, train, and supervise team members using a supportive mentoring approach


- Provide continuous training and monitor progress


- Lead by example and set high standards for your team


- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor for overseeing maintenance activities

Financial Management


- Prepare regular reports and ensure timely rent collection and banking activities


- Enhance community value and explore opportunities to optimize net operating income


- Maintain effective communication with vendors and contractors

Leasing Operations


- Manage applicant screening and oversee the leasing process


- Ensure model apartments are presentable and handle customer inquiries professionally


- Maintain the community's cleanliness and report maintenance needs promptly

Customer Service


- Manage phone inquiries and build rapport with residents by addressing their needs promptly


- Prioritize safety measures and ensure prompt resolution of any hazards


- Keep the property clean and presentable at all times


- Stay updated on market trends and competition

Requirements


- High School diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred


- Minimum three years of property management experience with at least one year in a managerial role


- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays


- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask


- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with property management software
