About the Company: Chronos Operations (CO) is a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation based in Anchorage, AK. As part of the Military, Intelligence, and Operations Support (MIOS) Strategic Business Unit, Chronos is dedicated to integrity, respect, and outstanding performance. Headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, Chronos specializes in Advanced Analytics & AI, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Intelligence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review Request for Information (RFIs), coordinate with Government Subject Matter Experts (SME), and provide recommendations.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) of the construction contractor's program.
  • Monitor environmental protection compliance and document findings.
  • Analyze construction contractor submittals and provide recommendations based on contract requirements.
  • Conduct field investigations and report any environmental threats or violations.
  • Update project status reports and reports on construction contractor compliance.
  • Monitor surveying, materials, and testing conducted by the construction contractor.
  • Attend coordination meetings and government inspections.
  • Review construction plans and participate in inspections and mishap investigations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR High school diploma/GED and 5+ years of construction management experience.
  • U.S. Professional Engineering Registration (P.E.) or U.S. Professional Architecture Registration (RA) - desirable but not required.
  • Ability to obtain NAVFAC or USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) course certificate.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Background check required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in construction management and related concepts.
  • Strong understanding of construction practices and methods.
  • Physical capability for on-site work and inspections.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and other relevant computer skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
