PAY RANGE: $24-$28/hr DOE
Job Summary:
Your role as an Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining a company's inventory levels to ensure that products are available when needed while minimizing excess stock and costs. The role involves a combination of administrative, analytical, and operational Inventory Specialist will include the recording and accuracy of the components, finished goods, equipment and supplies.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels.
- Track inventory usage and manage stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
- Generate purchase orders based on inventory needs.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor lead times and adjust order quantities to optimize inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
- Use inventory management software to update stock information and generate reports.
- Inspect incoming inventory for defects or discrepancies and report any issues.
- Ensure that inventory is stored correctly to prevent damage and deterioration.
- Analyze sales trends and historical data to forecast future inventory needs.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Provide inventory status reports to management and other departments as needed.
- Monitor inventory costs and work to minimize expenses related to storage, handling, and obsolescence.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A high school diploma, a bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field can be advantageous.
- Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in implementing and working within an MRP software
- Ability to effectively use computer and communication technology such as Microsoft Office

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
