_Hiring an Environmental, Health and Safety Technician (EHS) to work with a CDMO focusing on conscious science for sustainable ingredients used within personal care and household products_*Location:

_Responsibilities:_+ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.+ Stay updated on new and changing regulations and implement necessary changes to company policies and procedures.+ Conduct regular EHS risk assessments and audits.+ Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures to minimize accidents and injuries.+ Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels.+ Ensure all staff are adequately trained in safety protocols and emergency procedures.+ Lead investigations into EHS incidents and near-misses.+ Identify root causes and develop corrective and preventive action plans to prevent recurrence.+ Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and initiatives, including emergency response plans, hazardous materials management, and waste reduction strategies.+ Track and report on key EHS metrics.+ Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.+ Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in EHS practices.

Lead initiatives to enhance the company's EHS culture and performance.+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS documentation, including policies, procedures, training records, and incident reports.


_Qualifications:


_

+ Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Biology, Chemistry or a related field.+ 3 years of experience in an EHS role, 1-2 years of experience within Chemical manufacturing.
